Can it be...Emma is two! That is so amazing to us! She was thrilled to know Jan.9th was a day all about her. (as if any other day isn't) LOL. We had a really small family party at our house. She loves Elmo so of course we got cake plates/balloons of that nature.
Now the cake was almost an issue. I love to make the cakes for my lil ones birthdays. (let me warn you they are NOT professional) but I got the idea off of a website and thought it would be easy enough. In the end it turned out well, although you can see my worry at the beginning, part of the cake wanted to stay in the pan. But Mike to the rescue and we figured it out. It is a shaped like an ice cream cone....if you couldn't tell. Ha! Kiersten you would be proud! She was assisted me on my very first cake for Ethan!
Also, in other big Emma news she has decided to potty train. NOT my idea, but she only demands to wear big girls panties during the day. She is doing pretty well I might add, better than the other two!
Other than that Ethan is well, he is turning Eight Jan. 24th and I am now in birthday party mode for him! On Monday he will be a sad boy though. It seems according to the dentist we have to pull his back molar. His gums are infected back there cuz his 12 year old molar wants to come out due to a recent filling! I am sure the tooth fairy will bring a handsome reward. LOL.
Ellie is Ellie, and doing wonderful. She adjusted to Kindergarten just as we expected and has at least four best friends at a time. I included a picture of her and her B.F. Cole
Mike is still working hard at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. We just got finished with a two week layoff, but it could be worse. In other departments they are being layed off a week at a time every month! That has got to be really hard!
Me, I am keeping busy with the lil ones, on my spare time I try to read or catch up on shows that I downloaded on the DVR. I also found Facebook...(thanks to my cousins) and I have a hard time getting off of it. HA! Love to you all!
